You’re invited you to come and join us at our lively 10.30am service (doors open at 10am for fresh coffee and pastries).

Our services last 1hr20mins (approx) where we gather to sing (worship), read the Bible, teaching of the Bible, and a time of praying for each other and the world. We celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month.

If you're looking for a quiet, traditional service with hymns and Holy Communion each week, then we'd love to invite you to our Midweek Communion service every Thursday at 9.30am.

Holy Communion is an important practice of Christian worship where we remember the sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross.

A quiet traditional communion service (with bread and wine) using Church of England liturgy (wording) to worship God. The minister will be robed and there will be a couple of traditional hymns, prayers, and bible reading.

There is no dress code and if you find a more traditional service style more helpful we'd love you to join.

We also celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month.

Come along to our Christmas Market!

There's going to be a hog roast, paella, plenty of hot chocolate, a Salvation Army brass band and Santa has even promised to come see us with his magical elves! Come and search for the best presents amid our variety of market stalls and learn about a couple of supporting charities amid our wider community.

So spread the news - Santa is coming to town! Dig out your Christmas jumpers and invite your friends and families to come join us for the fun festivities at St Ed's Christmas Market!

11-3pm, 7th December at St. Ed's church, Allenton + Shelton Lock.

Food and drink will be chargeable. Santa is completely free and every child will be given a gift.

It's our fun and interactive telling of the birth of Jesus for all ages.

We encourage everyone to come wearing their favourite nativity costume (including grown-ups!).* So whip out those tea towels, and dressing gowns, and get ready for a great Sunday morning! Don't worry - We'll have a few spare costumes for those who forget to bring one.

Our doors will open at 10am for fresh coffee and some Christmassy treats. No need to sign up, just head on over.

Join us for our Carols by Candlelight service here at St. Ed's Church where we celebrate the good news of Jesus' birth through singing, Bible readings, a short message, and candles.

There'll be yummy mince pies, hot chocolate, and non-alcoholic mulled wine .

Our Worship for Everyone services seek to be not purely ‘family worship’ but ‘family-of-God worship’ – elevating the importance of children while engaging every age and stage of life. Worship for Everyone seeks to demonstrate and release the power of unity across generations in worship, believing in the intergenerational formation that comes from worshipping as the big family of God.

Our Worship For Everyone Services are slightly shorter than our usual Sundays (1hr), and have songs, a game or fun activity, and a shorter message.

These services are currently every 4-6 weeks.
