A celebration of the Eucharist in prayer, song, and reflection. The service will start promptly at 10.30am, so please arrive a little earlier to experience the prayerfulness of this special space. Advent is a time for joy, so the style of the service will be upbeat, and will include some movement around the building. Towards the end of the service our Posada figures are blessed. These are small wooden figures representing Mary, Joseph, and Jesus and each Advent they are sent out on a journey to spend a night in each of home in our parishes - Posada actually means 'inn'. Somersal's famous refreshments will be served at the end of the service. All are welcome. Parking will be available for those coming from outside the village
