What To Expect

We warmly welcome all visitors to our services and events. Our regular church services, which will usually be either Holy Communion or Morning Worship/Family Service, are held every Sunday at 11.00am, but please do check our services and events page or our online diary (click here) for details as our normal schedule does change from time to time. We also hold combined services with our friends from the Methodist Chapel on Main Street in Hilton twice a year, and with the other churches within the Appletree group.

Newcomers are very welcome, especially those for whom it is their first-time attending church or for people who have not attended for some time.

On entering the church you’ll be greeted by one of our volunteers and handed an order of service and a hymn book. The order of service will contain all the words and instructions needed for that particular service. The service usually lasts for about an hour and will be a mix of prayer, singing of hymns and a sermon or talk delivered either by the Reverend Edward or one of our Lay or retired ministers. After the service everyone is welcome to stay on for refreshments which are served at the back of the church.
