About Us

At St Lawrence Church we aim to explore the riches of God' grace.   

In particular we aim to grow in:     

Belief     Prayer and Worship        Service       

We attempt to do these things in ways which:       

- Make real for today the inheritance of the past 

- Recognise our need to help and support one another 

- Invite others to join us on the journey. 

The Church Family is a wonderful mixture of God’s own allsorts, comprising couples with families, career mid-life people, some around retirement age, elderly people, local people and incomers.    

This is a church and parish that will welcome and give space for new contributions, for trying things out, for rejoicing in success and accepting things that haven’t worked!    

We are a church in which people can, and do, grow.    

We offer a warm and encouraging welcome to newcomers.
