The Bishop of Derby's Harvest Appeal 2024

About the appeal
With more and more people having to make difficult choices about whether to pay bills or buy food, with food banks and other food projects struggling to cope with demand, this year’s harvest appeal, Our Daily Bread, will help support those organisations in Derby and Derbyshire that are working to help people in our local communities who are facing food poverty.
Our Daily Bread launched at the beginning of September and has a target of £10,000 to be divided between numerous projects in the Diocese of Derby.
Please take time to find out more about the appeal and to consider how your church, parish or community might help.

The easiest way to donate is via the appeal’s JustGiving page
Where you need to send a cheque, donations can be posted to Derby Church House – full details are on the diocesan website at derby.anglican.org/bread

St Paul's Quarndon

Welcome to St Paul's. Our church building is located at the top of Church Rd in the village conservation area.

We love to see people of all ages and have very good links with our church school next door- The Curzon.

Our worship is informal (low Anglican) and we tend to stick to a Sunday service rota of 10am Holy Communion, 10am Morning prayer(short said service), 10 am Holy Communion and 10am Morning Praise. We love our after-service chats over a cuppa, so please do stay and have a natter.

Our church is wheelchair and pushchair friendly and we have a toilet and a baby change area, a children’s corner, a car park to the rear of the Village hall and a churchyard where you can sit and look out across open fields.

Priest in charge Rev’d Sarah Watson and Associate Priest Rev’d Rachael Brook preside over the parish.
