This months opening letter is a reflection from Phil Moncur; 'No one person is meant to be everything to everyone. The Body of Christ has many parts..'Rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering, persevere in prayer. 13 Contribute to the needs of the saints; extend hospitality to strangers. Romans 12:12-13
This month we have an opening letter from David Horsfall, a celebration of St Pauls and The Blessing of the Oils service at Derby Cathedral.“[Jesus] was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight. They [his disciples] were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. ‘Men of Galilee’, they said, ‘why do you stand here looking in to the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven’.” Acts 1:9-11
