PCC

The PCC is the decision making body of the church who are tasked with co-operating with the minister in promoting in the parish the whole mission of the church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical, to spread the word of Jesus Christ in the area of the parish and benefice and to minister to the people who live there. It is the duty of the minister and the PCC to consult together on matters of general concern and importance in the parish.

As we are part of a benefice of four churches, our PCCs meet at the same time in the same building to aid communication, decision -making and to share learning and good practice with the final half hour of the meeting splitting into separate church groups to discuss issues pertinent only to the individual church such as finance and building issues.
