St Nick's Allestree

Welcome to St Nick's !

We are a church that supports many community activities, and we'd love to support you in your faith journey. We meet regularly every Sunday morning and we love to eat together, pray together and learn together about what it means to be a follower of Jesus.

We don't expect you to know what to do or what everything means, we don't expect you to come in your Sunday best, just come along as you and be prepared to explore with us.

If you live in the Allestree area you may regularly pass by our building on Allestree lane or been inside for a dancing class, watched a Panto, joined an art class, heard a talk from the local history group or brought a little one to one of several pre-school groups. Perhaps you've celebrated a birthday in our well-used Church Hall or danced your way into the New Year!

Priest in charge Rev’d Sarah Watson and Associate Priest Rev’d Rachael Brook preside over the parish.

Safeguarding

St Nick's is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Derby’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO by mobile: 07448607129 or email: [email protected]. Alternatively, contact the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor as shown on the flowchart link below.
If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
