During a time together of study, reflection, and discussion on the issue of Justice in 2022 an urgency emerged for us to engage specifically with Climate Justice. Rev. Eileen Bangay is heading this work up on behalf of the church with a team and we are engaging with an organisation called A Rocha which helps communities with the practicalities. Our first work was doing an environmental audit, which is completed. We are now identifying areas where we can improve and influence to create and nurture better environmental practices across our own community and the local area. The latest update on this missional work of striving to safeguard the integrity of creation and sustain and renew the life of the earth is that we have received a Silver Award.
