About Us

Back in the 1970s when this part of Derby was expanding with new housing 3 Christian Churches got together to start a new Christian worshipping community. The people were from different Christian traditions, Anglican, Methodist, and United Reformed Churches. They first met in two new houses adapted for the purpose by the developers and then in time built the Church Centre in which we meet today. The intention has always and continues to be for the Church to serve God and share the good news of Jesus with everyone. We do this in many different ways from church gatherings in the Church Centre and other local spaces, courses to explore the Christian faith, hosting and providing space for groups to serve particular needs within the community, and being involved locally working for the common good with different community partners.
