St Peter's Littleover & Blagreaves

Welcome to St Peter's, the parish church for Littleover & Blagreaves.  We are an informal and welcoming church that worships God and serves the wider community.  Our Sunday service at 10am has a screen, band and lively worship as well as groups for our children and toddlers.  The midweek 10.30am Wednesday service is always Holy Communion and has no music, but plenty of conversation over coffee and cake after the service.  Everyone is welcome, whether you are an experienced Christian or just beginning to explore faith - we are just ordinary people who love an extra-ordinary God and want others to know His outrageous love.

A Special Service led by Bishop Malcolm will be held in St Peter's Church, Littleover, and will be joined by the people of All Saints, Findern.
The service will encourage us all to commit to working together for the Kingdom of God. As a congregation we will reaffirm promises we made at confirmation, then the readers and priests will reaffirm their promises/vows, finally ending with the Bishop himself. If you want to know what you will be asked to say, some copies of the promises are available as flyers in the welcome area. Our Bible verse is 1 Peter 2:4-10 focussing on the priesthood of all believers.
The service will also be available via Zoom and Live Stream on Twitch - www.stpeterlittleover.org.uk/meet

Safeguarding

Our parish of Littleover and Blagreaves is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
