A service offering space for worship, singing and prayers for those living with dementia and those who care for them. Dementia can
be very isolating as behaviour changes and once familiar activities become overwhelming.
We aim to be dementia friendly by keeping the service short – about 20 minutes – including familiar hymns and prayers and offering a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. For some people with dementia, their muscle memory for singing can be good (they remember words and tunes more easily) and so we hope these
services can bring comfort and encouragement for them and for those who support them

St Andrew's Community Hub

On 1 January 2023 the Parishes of Littleover, St. Peter and Blagreaves, St. Andrew were merged to form a new Parish of Littleover and Blagreaves. There were also some boundary changes with the Parish of Normanton, St. Giles.

The St. Andrew’s Church building is no longer a Church and is now St. Andrew's Community Hub, although remaining owned by the Church.

Everyone is welcome to our services and events.

All regular services are now being held in St. Peter’s Church, Littleover, which is the Parish Church for the new Parish.

Sunday services are being held at 10am in St. Peter’s Church and also livestreamed. Holy Communion services are also being held at 10.30am on Wednesdays in St. Peter’s Church. Please note that the Community Hub is also used by outside organisations, including Little Angels at St. Andrew’s every weekday during term-time, a weekly evening Zumba Class run by 24 FIT Derby, and for other ad hoc events.
