St Mary

Welcome to our early Norman church, with tub font, on the historic Tissington Estate.  It is open for private prayer all day every day unless there is a funeral or wedding. All are welcome to this ancient space where people have prayed for centuries, take a slow walk round the church or simply sit for a while.

The Churches of Peak Five welcome all to worship, irrespective of age or faith commitments. There are normally at least two services every Sunday somewhere within our benefice including a communion service at 11:15. If you can’t see showing here the Sunday service or event for which you are looking, click on the arrow in the purple ‘Our Benefice’ box. Our Parish is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO).
