St Peter

Welcome to our delightful and solid church, Grade II* listed.  It is open for private prayer all day, every day, unless there is a funeral or wedding. All are welcome to this ancient space where people have prayed for centuries, take a slow walk round the church or simply sit for a while.

The Churches of Peak Five welcome all to worship, irrespective of age or faith commitments. There are normally at least two services every Sunday somewhere within our benefice including a communion service at 11:15. If you can’t see showing here the Sunday service or event for which you are looking, click on the arrow in the purple ‘Our Benefice’ box. The ‘Services and Events’ page there will show all services and events within the Benefice.

Safeguarding

Our Parish is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO at [email protected] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (please call 01332 388678 or complete the Safeguarding Concern Form). If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
