Welcome to St Margaret's in Carsington
St Margaret's Church is part of the Wirksworth Team Ministry, and the Ashbourne Deanery and is situated near Carsington Water. We are a welcoming church, within a village with a strong sense of community. We have strong links with the Carsington and Hopton C of E Primary School.
The building is normally open daily for private prayer, with our Parish Eucharist at 11.00 on the 1st Sunday of the month, plus occasional additional services. (For details of other live services within the team, click on "More Information", or go to Wirksworth Team Ministry's website)
We are once more holding church and local community events. If you would be interested in hiring the space, visit our website www.stmargaretsandthespace.com
There is generally ample roadside parking. The church is accessed by a fairly steep path with a handrail, with a couple of steps at the top. For services and events there is a wheelchair available.
As an Eco Church, we endeavour to support fairtrade, to reduce our carbon footprint, and to encourage increased diversity of fauna and flora in our churchyard.
