We warmly invite family and friends to our 'A Time to Remember' service for All Souls is on Sunday 3rd November 2024 at 4pm. All Souls tide is a special time of year when we can remember and give thanks for the lives of those we have loved and who are no longer with us.

The 'A Time to Remember' service will last for between 45 minutes to an hour, with hymns, readings, an address and an opportunity to light a candle in memory of the person who has died. It will be a time of thinking back and looking forward. It is our hope that it will be a time of healing too, where things are still difficult. There will be an opportunity to reflect on both sadnesses and celebrations of life, so it is not intended to be a mournful occasion.

If you would like the name of the person you are remembering to be read out during the service, please arrive a few minutes early and give their name to the person at the door. After the service you are welcome to stay for a cup of tea or coffee.

St Andrew's Church, Hadfield

We are an active and vibrant community of worshippers who meet together to worship, pray, sing and be together throughout all the joys and challenges of our daily lives.

We describe ourselves as ‘an Evangelical family church’, which means that we value the Bible as the means through which God speaks to us today, and that we are a congregation where people of all ages can feel at home.

Our vicar has retired so we are now a 'parish in vacancy'. Other clergy in the area will be supporting us as needed for continued Sunday and Wednesday services, as well as helping with weddings, funerals and baptisms.

Please contact the Church wardens for any enquiries.
