A Service of Said Eucharist at Glossop Parish Church of All Saints
The book of Romans can be challenging. Some verses are hard to understand and some sections seem controversial in our cultural context. But by unpacking the letter in its original setting, the relevance of the overall message for today can be explored.
The Romans Course, led by the Revd Chris Nowak, is a ten-session programme including videos filmed against the stunning backdrop of Rome together with time for discussion, to help study and apply Paul’s letter to the Romans. Using the metaphor of a mountain climb, the course tackles ten big themes found in the book of Romans which are key to understanding the Christian faith.
On most Saturday mornings the church is open between 10am and 12 noon for individual prayer.
A service of Holy Communion using the Book of Common Prayer on the first Sunday of each month at 8am for all the worshipping communities in Glossopdale. The service is held at St Andrew’s Church, Church Street, Hadfield SK13 2AD and is led by licensed Anglican clergy in Glossopdale.

2024 is the 150th anniversary of the foundation of St Andrew’s Church, Hadfield. To mark the occasion, our friends at St Andrew’s Church have organised a Flower Festival to celebrate the life of the church and its parish.
Refreshments, sandwiches, cakes, and Cream Teas will be available.
