Dinting's Service for Remembrance Sunday takes place Sunday 12th November at 9.30am with names read from the Dinting Church War Memorial board along with a two-minute silence and hymns & prayers for Remembrance.The Service will be 45 minutes finishing at 10.15am allowing those who want to go on to attend the Royal British Legion Open Air Service at Glossop in Norfolk Square at 11am to be able to do so.Doors at Holy Trinity Dinting Vale open at 9am for the 9.30am start and refreshments will be offered after the service.
Aimed specifically for secondary school age pupils, the TNT drop-in is an amazing safe space for young people to gather (and they do!) every week to chat, chill, play games and now, after listening to concerns and interests, the first of what the church calls 'nurture groups' have begun.TNT Green for those wanting to be involved in nature and care for the environment happens on a fortnightly basis on a Thursday. And Pizza Prayer on a Wednesday has just begun where those interested in prayer can be encouraged over making and eating pizza together. Holy Trinity Dinting Vale present a special evening concert at Dinting Church, Dinting Vale, Glossop on Saturday 30th September at 7pm with the Chapel-en-le-Frith Male Voice Choir & Dark Peak Young Voices. Ticket's £10 (available on the door) or pop into church at any times we are open. All children can come for free with an adult ticket for a great family evening out together. Why not ask your friends and wider family to join in also? The admission ticket will give you a free glass of wine or soft drink on arrival and also the evening nibbles & interval refreshments. The popular youth drop in returns term times every Friday after school 3pm-4.30pm open to all at secondary school locally.An opportunity to meet with friends after the summer, make friends, and find some space to chat and chill, play games, and see if you can do better than the Vicar's Joke of the Week!? We are especially looking forward to seeing you if you've just moved up to secondary school. Plenty of free refreshments available. We just ask that you act appropriately and respectfully to all others who attend and the TNT Team volunteers and let parent/carer know that you are attending.
