Access and Car Parking

On street parking for congregational guests only.

Our Victorian church yard has no provision for general parking for visitors or wedding or funeral guests.

One space is, however,  available for a single vehicle outside the church for the use of a wedding car or hearse or for the drop off of visitors with limited mobility. Drivers of larger cars may need to reverse up the drive after dropping off or picking up passengers.

The church yard access gates are in constant use by the residents of the new and old vicarages and need to be kept clear of obstructions. 

There is a single (8"/150mm deep) step from the church yard into the church with a handrail alongside the steps and entrance. A portable access ramp is available for assisted wheel chair users.

Regrettably our single internal toilet is not currently of accessible design. The nearest accessible toilet is the municipal one opposite the lower school site near the top of Long Lane.
