The Parish of Chinley with Buxworth consists of two churches about 1.25 miles apart, St. Mary's in Chinley and St. James’ in Buxworth.

The main services are currently at 10am each week and alternate between the 2 churches. There is also a monthly informal activity based service on the 2nd Sunday of each month called 4ALL (it is at 4pm and it is for all). Please see our website for the weekly notice sheet for more information on services.

St Mary’s Church in Chinley is currently undergoing a building project to make it more accessible and provide disabled access and toilets. It will also help to make it more welcoming, moving the entrance to the front instead of the side and creating a communal space for tea and coffee upstairs.
