Gary Weston comes to us with a wealth of leadership experience and a heart for mission and ministry. We are really looking forward to journeying together with Gary in this next season as we seek to follow Christ. Gary and his wife Clare will be moving to Chesterfield towards the end of March, with Gary being licenced at St Thomas’ on Sunday 3rd April 2022 at 6pm.

Gary and Clare have lived and ministered in Hinckley for the last 13 years where Gary has led St John’s Church. As well as ministering alongside Gary, Clare has also worked part time as a primary school teacher. They have two children, Joel and Kate, who are studying at University. Gary is currently part of the New Wine Midlands Regional Team and as a family they have attended and worked at the summer conferences for a number of years.

“We are excited about moving to Chesterfield in the next few months and seeing what God has in store for St Thomas’s and St Mark’s. We both enjoy walking, watching films, and a good meal, and look forward to getting to know the people and the area.”
