A Pastoral Scheme was made by the Church Commissioners on the 27th March 2024, to unite the benefices of St Thomas, Brampton and St Mark, Brampton:

"The benefice of Saint Thomas, Brampton and the benefice of of Saint Mark, Brampton in the diocese of Derby shall be united to create a new benefice which shall be named 'The Benefice of Brampton Saint Thomas and Saint Mark.  The parish of Saint Thomas, Brampton and the parish of St mark, Brampton shall also be untied to create a new parish which shall be named 'The Parish of Saint Thomas and St Mark and shall comprise the area of the new benifice"
