The Christmas Fair to raise funds for the Church will be held in The Old Grammar School [just behind the Church] on Saturday 25th November from 11 am to 2pm. There will be games, a bottle stall, raffle, cakes, jams and preserves, preloved items, handmade cards and gifts plus many others. Refreshments will be on sale.

If anyone could donate a bottle for the bottle stall these can be left in church in one of the rear pews behind the font. Many thanks if you can do this.

Welcome to the home page of St John the Baptist Church, “The Cathedral of the Peak” in the Derbyshire Parish of Tideswell.

St John's Tideswell is open for private prayer from 10am - 4pm daily unless there is a funeral or wedding. All are welcome in this ancient space where people have prayed for centuries, take a slow walk round the church or simply sit for a while.
