Our builders [Darrell and Mark and team from Warren & Neale] started on site in early May 2022. They have made our church access friendly, created a toilet off the porch, and refurbished our vestry. A permanent servery at the back of the church has been completed in Lent 2023. New cupboarding at the west end was installed before Easter 2024. This completes our three phase project. We still have some significant maintenance work to undertake over the next year: it never stops!
Following recent Church of England advice aimed at limiting the spread of Coronavirus, public worship in our church building [including singing] continues at 10am on Sundays. Our church is also open for private prayer every day. Hand sanitiser is provided. The wearing of face masks is optional. If you would like to attend a service but are concerned about being near someone who is singing, please, on arrival in church, alert our steward who will arrange for you to sit away from anyone who is singing. If you prefer to pray from home, we suggest using resources available on the Church of England website.
