Bishop Libby spoke to us about the two friends (Cleopas and his un-named companion) were walking home to Emmaus after the Passover weekend. They were still very confused following the crucifixion of Jesus and even more confused because of the stories flying about that the tomb was empty and that Jesus had been seen alive!A stranger joins them and they realise that it was indeed a risen Jesus who was talking to them.
Bishop Libby is working her way around the whole Diocese to visit as many churches as she can now we are in post lockdown time! This week (23 April) she is coming to Crich. Please give her a real Crich warm welcome!
Our church was buzzing with the joy and laughter of 37 children with their adults all beavering away on craft activities that helped them understand the true meaning of Easter. The morning ended with a short worship service.<br>Alan Richmond took loads of pictures…this one is the first of many! Watch this space!
