Bishop Libby spoke to us about the two friends (Cleopas and his un-named companion) were walking home to Emmaus after the Passover weekend.  They were still very confused following the crucifixion of Jesus and even more confused because of the stories flying about that the tomb was empty and that Jesus had been seen alive!

A stranger joins them and they realise that it was indeed a risen Jesus who was talking to them.
