Our Christmas Eve midnight service is a celebration of the Eucharist, an ancient name (from the Greek word for 'thanksgiving') widely used today for the service that is otherwise known as the Holy Communion, the Lord's Supper or Mass. The Eucharist is a service in which Christians follow Jesus' command to his followers, to share bread and wine in remembrance of him. The service includes Bible readings, prayer, a sermon, hymns and music sung by our choir with organ accompaniment.
