At St John's we run a weekly book group. As a group we alternate between studying a book from the Bible and a book on Christian theology. It is open to everyone, and no prior knowledge is required. Everyone is welcome!

The English Missal is a translation into English of the traditional Latin Mass. A service of beautiful music, ancient ritual, and authentic worship. All welcome!

Our Friday youth group is predominately aimed at secondary school aged children who want a relaxed and safe place to hang out, play games, do crafts, and have space to talk.

You don't need to be a Christian to come along, but we are happy to talk about matters of faith if you want to. There is no judgement here.

All of the leaders are DBS checked, and safely recruited following Church of England policy.

A family friendly service lasting an hour, followed by refreshments in the Parish Hall. Children are very welcome!

A lively and contemporary service of the word with worship band and post service refreshments.

BCP Evensong followed by solemn benediction - a beautiful, choir led service giving space for prayer and reflection.

Compline, or night prayer, is a quiet service lasting only 10 minutes. A chance to draw the week to a close in quiet reflection.

A place for men to gather for a cuppa and the chance to socialise and work on projects together - currently working on repairing a couple of chainsaws!

Church Brigade is a uniformed organisation for boys and girls aged 5-13 that meets in the Church Hall on a Tuesday evening. Our evenings consist of games, crafts, and working towards Badges. Church attendance is not required and each session costs 50p per child.

The rosary is prayed every Tuesday at 6.15pm. A short meditative service.

The St John's Food Kitchen provides a free meal to anyone who would benefit from one - no questions asked. The meal usually consists of a cooked main and a pudding. This can be eaten in or taken away. Tea and coffee available too. Open to all.

A family friendly service lead by puppets! The puppets lead us in a Bible story and a song. Refreshments are provided.

Our monthly coffee morning is held in our church hall on the first Saturday of the month and is the perfect opportunity for a free slice of cake and cup of coffee/tea and to meet new people. All are welcome to join us!
