Prayer changes things! Our Churches of St. Esprit, Marton and Holy Trinity, Long Itchington welcome you to join a 12 hour prayer day in both Churches to pray for God's favour on our Churches and communities. We invite people to come and stay and pray for as long as you'd like and can. There will be "prayer stations" in Church giving pointers and information to inspire prayer for different aspects of our lives, Churches, Community and the wider World and its needs. If you can't get to Church that day, please do pray wherever you are. Thank you!

St. Esprit Church, Marton

Welcome to the parish of Marton: St Esprit church is dedicated to the Holy Spirit, and is the only 'St Esprit' in England as far as we know! The church has regionally significant wall mounted metal plaques decorated with hand painted biblical texts.

Revd Canon Richard Suffern is Priest in Charge of Holy Trinity, Long Itchington and of St Esprit, Marton. Richard works on a half time basis, usually Sunday - Wednesday morning.

We gather for worship every Sunday in St Esprit Church at 11.00am, for service start at 11.15am.  We have a service of Holy Communion on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month, with an all age service on the 2nd and 4th Sundays. During August we just have the one service on Sunday 13th at 11.15am, the rest are joint services at Holy Trinity Long Itchington, starting at 9.30am.

On the first Sunday of the month we host the Southam Deanery “In the Spirit” service, which is an informal, contemporary, lay-led, lively service with a worship band and challenging message.  We gather for the service at 6.00pm with worship starting at 6.30pm.  The next “In the Spirit” service will be on Sunday 3rd September 2023.

Everyone is very welcome to attend any of our services. We usually have free refreshments available at all our services.

The parish of Marton: St Esprit Church is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer, PSO, working with the Benefice Safeguarding Officer. Our Diocese of Coventry’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA.
