What makes Luke's Gospel different from the others? In the Church of England, Luke's Gospel is the focus for the readings in "Year C" which begins with Advent on Sunday 1 December. This workshop will help you to see connections and themes in the weekly readings and enrich the way you hear and read the Bible.

Warm up for Christmas by coming to a dramatised reading of this Christmas favourite. A cast of Ilmington residents will bring to life the reduced script prepared by Dickens for his many public readings.

Specially designed for those who find Christmas a hard time of year, as many do. If you are missing someone this year, or finding the world situation difficult, this will be a 45 minute service with silence, reflective music, some short prayers, and stillness.
Particularly suitable for under 11s.
