Our theme this week is "community" after the successful open gardens event on Saturday. We eat a communal toast breakfast together on one table. We then talk of Jesus how he "stands amongst us" and "binds us together" in both the good times and bad. David then reads some of his father's experience as a soldier going to the Normandy beaches as a sobering end to our service and our D Day commemoration. For the children there are fishy activities. We are one of the six Revel Churches (the churches in the villages that surround the Newbold Revel estate) Our Priest-in-Charge is Rev Martin Faulkner although with six churches, many of our services are lay-led (local church members who are passionate about maintaining worship in their own village church) We look forward to welcoming you to one of our services or events.
