To protect our fine old church for future generations the lightning conductor is periodically tested to ensure that it will stop a lightning strike from causing damage should it occur.
Compline is a very simple calm reflective service of about half an hour that is used at the end of the day. In the current situation of Covid & of currently being "in vacancy" with no Parish Priest this is a lay led service.
