A lively service with music by the worship band. Lots going on at this one so ideal for all ages. Children love it! Its relaxed and informal vibe is also popular with adults experiencing church and the Christian faith for the first time.
Every Sunday EXCEPT in a month with five Sundays.
At 5pm we have a sung Evensong service on the first Sunday and Holy Communion on the third. There are hymns and music led by choir and organ at both services.
We have quiet morning prayer at 8am from Monday to Thursday each week: a psalm, Bible readings and prayer in a quiet reflective atmosphere.
A weekly lunch time meeting open to everyone over the age of 50. There are raffles, quizzes, outings and guess speakers and generally a sandwich lunch but sometimes fish and chips and pizzas. It's a very friendly group open to men and women with no upper age limit.
A short service of evening prayer held in church, often followed by house group meetings.
Join us to chat, craft or just enjoy the company and friendship. Whether you're an expert in something or don't think you can do anything 'crafty', we think everyone will find something they can enjoy.
Every Wednesday EXCEPT the first Wednesday of the month
Youth Impact is a free, exciting youth club at St Giles Church, Exhall, for young people between the ages of 11 - 18. The club runs every Thursday during term-time from 4 - 6pm, with free hot chocolate and juice served outside from 3pm.
The club is a great way to have fun, make friends, and let off some steam after a long day at school - with the latest video games, board games, table tennis, and so much more. In the second hour we do different activities every week, from sports to crafts and cooking.
We would love to see you there - all teenagers welcome - those of all faiths or none!
TERM TIME ONLY
At 8am we hold a quiet, spoken Holy Communion Service. There is tea, coffee and biscuits for everyone afterwards in the small hall.
At 10am we have our Parish Communion, a sung communion with choir and organ, and heralded to the locality by our ring of six bells. Parts of the communion are sung and there are always hymns, led by choir and organ. The service is followed by tea, coffee and biscuits in the small hall. Also on a fourth Sunday in a five-week month.
A friendly and relaxed meeting for people coping with bereavement. You'll find tea, cakes, friendship and support - plus quizzes, outings and other activities.
On the last Sunday of each month we hold just one combined service of Holy Communion at 10.30am. It's relaxed and quite lively often with a combination of both choir/organ and worship band. It's a 60 minute service ideal for all ages and, of course, there are refreshments afterwards.
10.30am on the first Wednesday of the month we have our mid-week Communion service; worship and fellowship, with tea, coffee and biscuits afterwards.
