St Giles' Church is both a building and a community. The building has been a place of prayer and worship dating back over 800 years, the community has over 150 members - people who have found that faith makes a difference to their lives, and want others to discover this too.
With three services every Sunday (8am, 9.30, 11.30 or 5pm) plus midweek worship (First Wednesday at 10.30am), and daily prayer each morning, there's worship of different styles to suit many different tastes.
We value the opportunities to be alongside anyone from the wider parish at the times of joy and sadness in their lives - those interested in baptism/christenings, weddings or funerals. Following a generous gift of land, the St Giles' Meadow burial ground opened in 2014. Anyone who lives within the parish has the right to be buried there.
But those who follow Jesus know that it's not just about saying "Come to us! You'll find a warm welcome here." It's also about looking for ways to share his light and love with others. St Giles' has great relationships with our local community.
