St Peter's Church

Welcome to St Peter's, your local parish church here in Galley Common.

Everyone is welcome at St Peter's. When you attend, you can expect an informal yet traditional service that includes singing, prayer, and a reflection, organised in a consistent pattern using understandable language.

Holy Communion, which is also called the Lord's Supper or the Eucharist, normally takes place twice a month.

We are part of a two-church benefice, or group, alongside Holy Trinity Hartshill and hold joint services the fifth week of the longer months of year. We belong to the Nuneaton Deanery, which includes all Church of England churches from Atherstone down to Exhall, and sit within the Diocese of Coventry.

Safeguarding

"Our parish of Galley Common is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Coventry’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
