We held our traditional harvest festival on Sunday 1st October at 3.30pm and it was great to welcome 50 people to our friendly Harvest Songs of Praise. The church was beautifully decorated with harvest produce. Some of the produce was given away to local individuals and charities. The remaining produce was bid for at our fun Harvest Auction which raised a great amount for church funds, and 10% of the monies raised will also be donated to local charities by Astley PCC. Harvest is a special time for Astley as we love to say thank you to our farming community and share what we have. Everyone is always very welcome to join us.
