Christmas season in the Benefice commences with a Carol Service in Ashow church, commencing at 4 pm on Sunday, 17th December 2023.
Under the direction of Susan Spencer, a choir has been formed and they will be leading a service of preparation for Christmas, to which everybody is invited. Well-known music for the occasion has been chosen and there will be plenty of opportunity for everyone to join in.

Later the same day, at 7 pm in Stoneleigh church, the traditional service of nine lessons and carols will be held, when the lessons will be read by representatives of organisations and bodies within the church and the village. The singing will be led by the Stoneleigh Male Voice Choir and the Stoneleigh Ladies Choir, all under the direction of our organist John Morris.

At the end of the service, everybody is invited to the Village Club for festive refreshments.

Family and friends are all invited to one (or both!) of these very seasonal and welcome occasions.

Please note that Rev. Petrica's working hours in the parish are: half day Thursday, half day Friday, and two full days Saturday and Sunday.

The church is open to visitors and for private worship from 10 am to 3 pm during the winter months and from 10 am to 4 pm during the summer.
