Safeguarding at Stoneleigh
We believe it is our God given responsibility to ensure everyone who comes into contact with us is safe and treated with respect and care and so we have a robust safeguarding policy and procedure.
Our Leadership team and all volunteers are trained in Safeguarding awareness and to an appropriate level and we have a designated Parish Safeguarding Officer who with the oversight of the Vicar, ensures all safeguarding issues and concerns are handled appropriately.
In the event of needing to report a safeguarding concern please follow these procedures.
1. You suspect or witness abuse, or someone discloses information about a safeguarding concern or allegation within the Benefice of Stoneleigh with Ashow
a. If a child or adult is in immediate danger or requires medical help call 999.
b. If it is not an emergency record the details and contact the Vicar or PSO using contact details below.
c. If you are reporting outside of office hours please use the Diocesan Safeguarding 24 hour telephone line.
2. For safeguarding issues or concerns outside the Benefice or if you wish to report directly to the Diocesan safeguarding team please use the Diocesan safeguarding team contact details below:
