A creative retreat day at Ashow Church

Lead by Marie Calvert (C of E Reader, Arts Psychotherapist, Artist)

Saturday 1st July 2023, 9.30 am – 4pm

Much of our daily life is serious, and yet Jesus invites us to become like little children. What might this mean? This experiential day will give us time to relax with God, to play and pray, perhaps even to rediscover some joy, as we look at the world afresh through the eyes of a child.

There will be a blend of stillness, gentle movement, creative activity, interactive group times and space for quiet individual reflection, as we spend time both inside and outdoors (weather permitting!). No experience necessary – all are welcome.

Our church forms part of the Benefice of Stoneleigh with Ashow and we work closely in partnership with our friends and neighbours.

Please note that Rev. Petrica's working hours in the parish are: half day Wednesday, half day Thursday, and two full days Saturday and Sunday.

The church office is open on Wednesday and Thursday mornings between 9 am and 12 noon under the guidance of Jackie Cubitt, the administrator. 02476 415506 [email protected]

The church is open to visitors and for private prayer from 10 am to 4 pm every day.
