This year, the celebration of the Annunciation has been transferred from it's usual date of 25 March in order to avoid a clash with Holy Week. This feast will be celebrated on Monday 8 April. At St John's, we will mark the day with a simple celebration of the Mass.

Coventry - St. John the Baptist

Welcome to the website of St John's Church, Coventry. We are the Church of England parish serving part of the city centre, Spon End, Lower Coundon, and the Butts.

The church is open from 10.00am to 12.00noon every Saturday. You are welcome to come into the church for some prayer, peace and tranquility, and you can light a candle if you wish. Saturday morning is also the time when our Rector is usually available if you wish to see him about Christenings, weddings or any other matter. Do drop in to see him. Our cafe in the hall is also open on Saturday mornings, so you can enjoy a hot drink and a snack too. 

Each Sunday Mass is offered at 11.00am and 6.00pm, and you are welcome to join us at either of those times.
