On 18 May Fr Dexter dedicated a tree and plaque in memory of WWI veteran Arthur Ernest Clews who died of war wounds in 1918 at the age of 18. He is among those commemorated in our war memorial window at St John's, and he is now also commemorated in the War Memorial Park. Later this year, we will host an exhibition on our war memorial window and some of the men named on it - look out for details.
