St John’s Church, Fleet Street, has survived many challenges over the years, but wear and tear take their toll on an old building. Our volunteers work hard to keep the church in good condition and safe to use.
Last year we repaired dangerous stonework inside the church. Earlier this year we repaired the hopper that was causing rainwater to come into church. Now, we must repair external stonework that will become unsafe if not repaired.
We need to raise £35,000 for that work. We have received some grant funding, and are applying for more grants, but we cannot raise the total needed without your help.
