All Saints Church Hall - thankyou for your votes!Thankyou to all who voted for new Equipment for our Church Hall in the Aviva Community fund. We achieved enough votes to reach the Finals in the £1000 category.
Some History
All Saints Church is situated in the centre of Weston village, near Crewe. It is a Victorian building, built in 1840 originally as a chapel within the parish of Wybunbury and later becoming the parish church for Basford, Chorlton and Weston.
In 1893 the church was enlarged by the addition of a semi-circular chancel and provision for a choir.
Our main Church Services
Every Sunday our main service takes place at 11:00am. On the first, third (& fifth) Sundays of each month this is a service of Holy Communion following ‘Order 1’ from Common Worship.
Morning Praise takes place on the second Sunday, this is a non-communion service, normally with a special theme appropriate for the season.
On the fourth Sunday we hold a Family Service where younger children are especially welcome; occasionally a Baptism may be included.
In addition, we also hold a more traditional service of Holy Communion from the Book of Common Prayer on the fourth Sunday of the month at 8:00am
There are a number of special services (some in the evening) held to celebrate specific events during the year - please see the diary page (or Weekly Link sheet) for more information on all events coming up.
We are always delighted to welcome newcomers and visitors to any of our services.
Our ‘sister’ church of St Mark’s Shavington holds similar services (but at slightly different times) and you will be equally welcome there - PLEASE CLICK ON ST MARK'S LINK ON THE RIGHT FOR INFORMATION ABOUT EVENTS HERE
