Friday Place of Welcome is a safe, welcoming, free space for anyone to come to share food and meet together in friendly company.
A simple menu suitable for mid-morning snacks to early light lunch will be served.

We will gratefully accept voluntary donations and hope to cover our costs. Any profit will help the outreach work of St. Mary's Church and other local charities helping to alleviate poverty.

5 Principles are upheld:
Place: A hospitable and accessible building, open at the same time every week.
People: Open to everyone regardless of their circumstances or situation, and staffed by volunteers committed to making it happen. Presence: A safe place where people actively listen to one another. Provision: Free refreshments are on offer along with basic local information.
Participation: Recognition that every person coming into a Place of Welcome will bring talents, experiences and skills that they might be willing to share locally.
