There is no service at St James on the 27th July with the PA just outside the door! The church will be open and there will be tea or coffee offered with biscuits or a slice of cake. The church yard offers a grandstand view of the parade as it winds its way past. Do take this opportunity to visit our beautiful church.
Friday night at 7pm Audlem Voices will be singing a variety of songs including some well known favorites.Saturday afternoon at 3.40pm the sound of a Brass band will filling the church from Dave Woolam Brass band. Then at 5.10pm Moonlight Serenade takeover and they will be playing the much loved music from the 1940'sFinally on Sunday at 5.30 Bowden RUFC Choir will be singing. We will have to replace our old oil boiler which heats the main part of the church with a more sustainable and efficient system in the near future and we estimate the cost could be between £30k and £40k.Download the Co-op App, become a member and choose our cause (St James Church sustainable heating project), so we can receive a share of 5m.
Our church will have about a dozen decorated trees for you to enjoy.
