About Us

At St George's we're a friendly and 'motley crew' - like most churches! The thing that holds our congregation together is our commitment to God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit and our love for one another.   

We offer a variety of worship styles on Sunday mornings. 

The 9:15am service is traditional with hymns sung to organ accompaniment with Common Worship liturgy. 

The 10:45am service is much more contemporary in style with more modern worship songs, led by a music group and a much greater degree of informality all round with children warmly welcomed and encouraged to be a part of our worship. 

Our Sunday School for Primary School aged children takes place during this service. 

The 6pm service (only held on the fourth Sunday of the month) alternate between a Holy Communion Service with prayers for healing  and a Celtic Evening Prayer.
