On 24th February 2022 Russian forces attacked the Ukraine, a conflict that has now lasted for over two years. The Ukraine forces fight on with limited equipment and resources and now face another cold hard winter Can you help? Tameside Parachute Regiment are co-ordinating collection of comfort packages to send to troops in the Ukraine – a standard size shoe-box marked Male or Female containing the following suggested items: Toothpaste Chocolate Wet-Wipes Tissues Candles Socks Tea / Coffee / Sweets Tinned meat / Sardines Soap / Lip Balm First Aid Items / Bandages Thermal underwear Antiseptic Cream Small Towels Sewing Kits Sanitary products (women’s parcels) A Christmas Card and anything else you can think of which might make life easier / better Please do not send Alcohol, Drugs, Cigarettes (as customs may confiscate these) Please bring parcels to St Mark’s Church by 24th November 2024 On Behalf of the Ukraine troops and Tameside P.R.A.
