About Us

We meet every Sunday morning at 9am and 10.30am.  We have groups for children and youth as part of our 10.30am service.  Everyone starts off in church together and then the children and young people go into our church centre for their group time. 

We are a friendly and lively Anglican Church, with a relaxed and informal style, on the Stalybridge/Dukinfield boundary. We welcome people from all walks of life and all parts of the world to join us as we seek to follow Jesus together. Do come and join us. 

St John's is a member of the Evangelical Alliance and subscribes to the Alliance's beliefs and values.

We have an age range that stretches from new born to 90, so you won’t feel out of place whatever your age. 

It’s always risky stepping into somewhere new but, here at St John's, you can be assured of a warm welcome.
