Central to worship in our church is the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, also called the Holy Communion, or the Lord's Supper. In this offering of prayer and praise, the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ are remembered and celebrated. Children are particularly welcome at this service.

You are welcome to come and join us for coffee and company on the second Wednesday of each month in the Parish Hall.
There will be hot drinks, cakes, biscuits and chat in warm surroundings.

This is the first of our agriculture-themed services of the year when we will ask for God's blessing of the land. Children are particularly welcome at this service.
After the service, breakfast will be served.

Easter is the most important festival in the Christian calendar. It celebrates Jesus rising from the dead, three days after he was executed. Christians believe that, through his resurrection, Jesus overcame death and sin. This offers people the promise of eternal life if they follow his teachings.
You are invited to come to this joyous communion service on Easter Sunday to celebrate Jesus rising from death to move among us again.

This is a service of prayers, thanksgiving and hymn-singing. It will sometimes be led by members of the congregation.

Starting at the church at 11:15am, there will be a community walk around the village, stopping at a number of places for prayers of thanksgiving. Back at the church, there will be coffee and cake offered. All walkers, two-legged or four-legged, are welcome to join us. Bring a walking stick to join in the beating!

Today we celebrate the first fruits of the harvest. Communion will be taken with a freshly-baked loaf of bread which represents the first of the gathered-in grains. It is combined with the Rose Queen and Oak King ceremonially returning the Oak Sword and Oak Sceptre to church as their final official act, although they will visit a few other fetes before the Marton Wakes.
After the service, we will serve a soup and sandwich lunch.

The service where we will give thanks for the Marton Wakes Fete, a traditional fete held on the penultimate Saturday in July every year, and which has been running for at least 125 years.

At this evening's service, you are invited to come and remember those of your loved ones who have died. Everyone will be invited to light a candle in remembrance.
