Great Haseley has a rich history. The most authoritative account is in British History Online. The printed church guide contains useful information, as does our Info Point digital guide, both available in the church.

The Great Haseley History Group is actively researching aspects of the village history, and has a helpful website.

All the gravestone inscriptions and church monuments have been recorded by the History Group. There is a CD available from the Oxfordshire History Centre with images and transcriptions of all these, and in the church you will find a printed copy of the index with a detailed map to help you locate individual gravestones.
